Key Responsibilities For The Staff Accountant Role
- Prepare and post journal entries to support accurate financial reporting.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and employee benefit accounts.
- Maintain fixed asset records and related accounting schedules.
- Assist with month-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Support ongoing accounting operations and contribute to process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent accounting experience.
- 1-3 years of accounting experience with a solid understanding of general ledger and reconciliation processes.
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities while working independently and as part of a team.
