Overview Of The Staff Accountant Role
- Maintain accounting records, including general ledger accounts, bank reconciliations, and subsidiary ledgers
- Record, review, and analyze transactions within the accounting system
- Perform account reconciliations, including bank and intercompany accounts
- Post monthly, quarterly, and year-end accruals
- Support tax filings and assist with year-end audit requests and documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage priorities and work independently
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- A strong sense of ownership and pride in producing accurate, high-quality work
