Overview Of The Staff Accountant Role
- Accounts Payable: 3-way matching of invoices, data entry
- Accounts Receivable: Post payments to ledgers
- Communicate daily with both vendors and staff regarding the status of customer accounts
- Assist with the year-end close process
- Assist with payroll processing
- Additional projects as assigned
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2 years of experience in an accounting role
- Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Excellent communication skills
