- Own and maintain the HRIS, including employee records, data accuracy, and personnel files
- Manage benefits administration, broker relationships, employee education, and open enrollment
- Ensure compliance with multi-state employment laws, required postings, recordkeeping, and audits
- Guide managers on employee relations matters including performance issues, disciplinary matters, and workplace concerns
- Own the employee offboarding process from start to finish
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure a seamless transition from recruiting through onboarding
- Manage HR vendors and consultants supporting the organization
- Strengthen and scale HR operations programs, policies, and processes as the company grows
- 5 years of HR generalist or HR operations experience
- Hands-on HRIS experience; Rippling experience strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of employment law and multi-state HR compliance
- Experience managing benefits administration and broker partnerships
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of an organization
- Highly organized and self-directed with strong judgment
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field preferred
- SHRM or HCI certification preferred
- High-growth startup experience preferred
