CFS is partnering with an established financial services organization seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support financial operations and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Support internal and external audit requests
- Analyze accounting processes and recommend improvements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
- Mentor junior accounting staff and collaborate across departments
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4 years of progressive accounting experience
- Financial services, banking, mortgage, or lending industry experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills
- CPA or CPA-track preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Salary range of $90,000 - $115,000
