Key Responsibilities
- Perform monthly and annual closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare financial statements, supporting schedules, and variance analyses.
- Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure accurate cost allocations.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation.
- Implement process improvements to streamline reporting and strengthen internal controls.
- Mentor accounting staff and serve as a resource for technical accounting issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA preferred.
- 5 years of general accounting experience with a strong understanding of GAAP.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or QuickBooks Enterprise.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate effectively across departments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
