Key Responsibilities For The Property Accountant

• Prepare monthly close, financial statements, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Perform variance analysis against budget and prior periods
• Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of property-level financial data
• Manage lease abstraction and data accuracy in Yardi
• Complete CAM, tax, and insurance reconciliations and tenant true-ups
• Support budgeting, invoice coding, and onboarding of new properties
  
  

Qualifications For The Property Accountant

• Bachelor’s degree
• 2–5 years of property or real estate accounting experience
• Yardi or similar property accounting software experience
• Knowledge of GAAP and CAM reconciliations
