What The Property Accountant Will Do…

  • Reviewing and posting of A/P invoices
  • Month-end close of each entity – general ledger, financial statement preparation, support schedules for each balance sheet account
  • Bank reconciliations and preparing and posting journal entries
  • Accruals and balance sheet review
  • Compare and explain monthly variances to the budget as well as trending analysis

What The Company Needs In a Property Accountant

  • Excellent work ethic, ability to multi-task, detail-oriented
  • Experience in Property Accounting is a PLUS
  • Strong Excel skills with full understanding of accounting concepts
  • Yardi software experience is a plus
