Human Resource Generalist Responsibilities
The Human Resources Generalist will oversee a broad range of HR responsibilities, including onboarding, benefits administration, payroll, recruiting, employee relations, performance management support, and compliance. You’ll partner closely with managers and employees to foster a positive workplace culture and ensure consistent, people‑focused HR practices.
Human Resource Generalist Responsibilities
- Administer full-cycle recruiting, including posting roles, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews
- Lead onboarding and orientation processes for new hires
- Primary role in payroll processing and timekeeping oversight
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations questions and concerns
- Support performance review processes and manager coaching
- Administer employee benefits and assist with open enrollment
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Support policy development and implementation
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and company events
- Issue and reconcile employee monthly credit card statements
- 3 years of progressive HR experience
- Experience with HRIS systems and payroll platforms
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
