Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and new hire orientation.
- Administer HRIS records, employee data, timekeeping, and payroll support.
- Coordinate benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee inquiries.
- Manage leave of absence programs, accommodations, and return-to-work processes.
- Support employee relations, investigations, performance management, and policy administration.
- Partner with leadership on compensation planning, employee engagement, and talent development initiatives.
- Assist with workplace safety programs, incident reporting, and compliance efforts.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of Connecticut employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience supporting recruiting, employee relations, benefits, payroll, and compliance functions.
- Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
