HR Generalist

A growing organization in the Kalamazoo area is seeking an HR Generalist to support day-to-day human resources operations while helping create a positive employee experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, staying organized, and working across multiple areas of HR in a professional office setting.

$26-$31/hour | Full-Time

What You'll Be Doing

• Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits
• Coordinate onboarding activities, employee changes, and offboarding documentation
• Maintain confidential personnel files and ensure employee records remain accurate
• Enter and update employee information within the HRIS
• Assist with recruiting by posting openings, scheduling interviews, and supporting the hiring process
• Prepare and update HR forms, job descriptions, and other internal documents
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in human resources, office administration, or an HR support role
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong data entry skills
• Experience using an HRIS or other employee database systems
• Familiarity with onboarding, personnel records, recruiting, or other HR processes
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
