Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable (AR) activities, including payment posting, reconciliations, and aging analysis
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for assigned grant portfolios
- Monitor grant revenue, drawdowns, and reimbursements, ensuring timely and accurate cash flow
- Conduct budget vs. actual analysis and investigate variances
- Support grant compliance and reporting, including documentation and audit readiness
- Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting teams, program managers, and leadership
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data, processes, and reporting
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent accounting coursework/experience)
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, including:
- Accounts Receivable
- Financial statement preparation
- General accounting processes
- Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs/HLOOKUPs)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work fully on-site in San Antonio, TX
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams (non-siloed work style)
- Grant accounting experience (federal, state, or local funding)
- Experience with Acumatica ERP or similar accounting systems
- Background in nonprofit or multi-funding environments
Salary : $60,000 - $73,000
