- Key Responsibilities for the Interim Fractional Chief Financial Officer:
- Lead Single Audit readiness, including assessment of financials, documentation, and controls
- Review monthly financial statements and key reconciliations for accuracy and compliance
- Evaluate internal controls and federal funding compliance; recommend corrective actions
- Serve as a technical advisor to the Controller on complex accounting and audit matters
- Provide executive-level financial analysis and recommendations to the CEO
- Present financial insights and audit readiness updates to the Finance Committee
- Significant nonprofit CFO or equivalent senior financial leadership experience
- Demonstrated success leading or preparing for Single Audits
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit financial reporting standards
- CPA strongly preferred
