Responsibilities Of The Director Of Software Development

• Lead the technical strategy behind both internal systems and customer-facing applications.
• Define development standards, release cycles, and documentation processes.
• Evaluate and introduce modern tools—including AI and automation—to increase scalability and efficiency.
• Contribute directly to core product development using PHP, SQL, and modern front-end technologies.
• Architect and implement new features, enhancements, and integrations.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and ensure high performance, reliability, and security across the stack.
• Work closely with senior leaders to clarify business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Communicate timelines, risks, and progress with transparency and confidence.
• Lead and coach the development team, reinforcing engineering best practices and modern coding standards.
• Foster a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement.
• Meet with select clients to understand their workflows and uncover opportunities for enhancement.
• Provide strategic guidance to help clients maximize the platform’s capabilities.
  
  

Preferred Experience Of The Director Of Software Development

• Experience leading or managing a development team.
• Strong background in PHP, SQL, Bootstrap, and modern web development.
• Solid understanding of architecture, system design, and scalable processes.
• Effective communication skills across technical and non-technical groups.
