Director of Finance | 100% REMOTE | $150,000–$180,000

If you’re an experienced nonprofit finance leader who wants broad ownership across accounting, budgeting, grants, compliance, and financial operations, this is an opportunity to step into a highly visible leadership role with a national nonprofit organization.

Location: 100% Remote

Schedule: Eastern Time business hours

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the organization’s accounting and finance functions, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and operational finance
• Oversee the annual audit process and ensure strong financial controls and compliance
• Manage grant accounting, reporting, and related compliance requirements
• Partner with leadership on financial planning, forecasting, and long-term decision-making
• Provide financial oversight across a nonprofit organization with an annual budget in the $10M–$20M range
• Support the financial operations of a pass-through nonprofit environment
• Improve financial processes, reporting, and overall visibility across the organization
  
  

Who We’re Looking For

• 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Significant experience working within the nonprofit sector
• Experience supporting or leading finance for a nonprofit with a $10M–$20M annual budget
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, audit, and financial reporting experience
• Hands-on grant accounting and compliance experience
• Experience with nonprofit operational and financial oversight
• CPA strongly preferred
• Ability to work primarily during Eastern Time business hours
  
  

Compensation

• $150,000–$180,000 base salary
• 100% remote opportunity
