- Maintain and analyze standard costs, BOMs, routings, and product cost structures
- The Cost Accountant will support new product costing, pricing, profitability analysis, and ERP costing
- Analyze material, labor, overhead, scrap, yield, and production variances and identify root causes
- Manage inventory valuation, reserves, reconciliations, cycle counts, and physical inventory processes
- Support month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Develop and monitor manufacturing KPIs and provide financial analysis to Operations and Finance leadership
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and budget-to-actual analysis
- Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance on cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop financial models and analysis to support operational decisions, including sourcing, productivity, and capital investments
- The Cost Accountant will track and report cost savings and provide meaningful financial insights to leadership
- Prepare and maintain cost accounting reports, dashboards, and other financial analyses
- The Cost Accountant will support ERP costing functionality, system enhancements, internal controls, and GAAP compliance
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory accounting, manufacturing variances, and financial controls
- Experience with SAP in a manufacturing environment; SAP S/4HANA preferred
- SAP GUI experience highly desirable
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, complex formulas, and data analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with Finance, Operations, Plant, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams
Salary : $95,000 - $110,000
