- Serve as the lead cost accounting resource for multiple processing facilities across the Eastern region.

- Play a strategic role in budgeting, forecasting, inventory management, and operational decision-making.
- Partner closely with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.

- Build expertise in manufacturing costing, inventory controls, and ERP-driven financial analysis.
- Participate in capital project analysis and ROI evaluations that support company growth initiatives.

- Develop, maintain, and analyze standard costs, product costing, and manufacturing variances.
- Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliations, and inventory control initiatives.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for plant operations.
- Partner with plant management to provide financial analysis, operational insights, and process improvement recommendations.
- Support audits, management reporting, and special projects as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related business field.
- Background in Cost Accounting or Accounting.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook, along with a strong understanding of GAAP principles.
