Corporate Accountant Responsibilities
- Perform general ledger accounting, journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close
- Support financial reporting and account analysis
- Assist with AP, AR, billing, and collections as needed
- Prepare reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records
- Support annual audits and provide requested documentation
- Assist with process improvements and accounting initiatives
- Partner directly with the Controller and other members of leadership
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to existing accounting processes
- 3–5 years of accounting experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Strong corporate accounting experience
- Solid understanding of GL accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close
- Exposure to AP, AR, financial reporting, and audit support
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems
- Proactive personality with the ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- $70,000–$90,000 depending on experience
