Controller Responsibilities
- Lead all day-to-day accounting and finance operations
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and internal controls
- Coordinate annual audits and tax compliance activities
- Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions
- Support retirement plan administration and related compliance requirements
- Partner with leadership on operational and strategic initiatives
- Oversee HR administration, including benefits coordination, employee onboarding, and policy management
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and employment regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
- Experience overseeing full-cycle accounting within a small to midsized organization
- Knowledge of HR administration, benefits, and retirement plans
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Advanced Excel and accounting systems experience
- Salary range of $150,000-$160,000
