- Own the month-end close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare month-end and year-end financial statements.
- Lead the annual audit and work closely with external auditors.
- Evaluate current accounting processes and implement improvements where needed.
- Oversee and mentor a team of 8, including AP/AR Specialists, Staff Accountants, and Senior Accountants.
- Partner with leadership on financial reporting, analysis, and strategic initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is a plus.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong Excel and ERP system experience.
- Sage ERP experience is highly preferred.
- Experience with process improvements or ERP implementations is a plus.
