- Maintain accurate books and records for multiple clients
- Record and classify daily financial transactions, including income and expenses
- The Bookkeeper will manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Perform monthly bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
- Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets
- Post journal entries and make necessary account adjustments
- The Bookkeeper will assist with month-end and year-end close activities
- Review general ledger accounts for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare financial reports and bookkeeping schedules for clients and internal use
- Assist with sales tax filings and other accounting-related reporting
- Communicate with clients to obtain financial information and resolve bookkeeping questions
- The Bookkeeper will maintain organized and accurate client records and supporting documentation
- 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a CPA firm or public accounting environment
- QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online experience preferred
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial statements
- Experience with multiple clients or entities preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Bilingual in Spanish and English required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
