A well-established organization is seeking a Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting and financial recordkeeping functions. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial data, supporting AP and bank reconciliations, and ensuring the integrity of accounting records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys working in a structured but collaborative environment.

Bookkeeper Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and timely bank reconciliations
• The Bookkeeper will process accounts payable, including invoice entry, vendor communication, and payment support
• Maintain up-to-date financial records through consistent data entry and bookkeeping activities
• Assist with preparation of financial reports and supporting schedules
• The Bookkeeper will ensure adherence to internal accounting policies and procedures
• The Bookkeeper will collaborate with team members to support process improvements and efficiency
• Handle daily bookkeeping tasks with a high level of accuracy and accountability
  
  

Qualifications Of The Bookkeeper Role

• High school diploma required; additional accounting coursework or certification preferred
• Prior bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software systems
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
