Salary: Based on experience

Our client, a mission-driven healthcare organization providing quality care to underserved communities, is seeking a Billing Lead to oversee billing operations and support a small, dedicated team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced billing professional ready to take the next step in leadership, or someone with solid supervisory experience who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities For The Billing Lead

• Lead and support the day-to-day operations of the revenue cycle team
• Process, review, and follow up on Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party claims
• Analyze and resolve claim denials and discrepancies
• Ensure accuracy of ICD-10, CPT, and diagnosis coding based on provider documentation
• Train and mentor billing staff on best practices and workflow improvements
• Coordinate updates and changes to billing codes with management
• Review and manage accounts receivable, aging reports, and remittance postings
• Oversee insurance eligibility verification and appeals processes
• Ensure timely month-end close and reporting
  
  

Qualifications For The Billing Lead

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desired
• 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience in medical billing
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT coding, and medical billing procedures
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Passion for community health and improving patient access to care
