- Conduct field audits and examinations at client locations and remotely
- Review financial records, payroll data, operational reports, and supporting documentation
- Prepare audit workpapers, schedules, and detailed findings
- Analyze financial information to identify discrepancies, compliance issues, and areas of risk
- Communicate audit results and recommendations to clients and internal leadership
- Assist with planning, executing, and completing audit engagements
- Evaluate internal controls and recommend process improvements
- Maintain strong client relationships through professionalism and responsiveness
- Ensure engagements are completed accurately and within established timelines
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- 2 years of audit, accounting, compliance, or related experience
- Public accounting, field audit, workers' compensation premium audit, or insurance audit experience highly preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other business systems
- Ability and willingness to travel locally to client sites
