A client of CFS is currently seeking an experienced AP/AR Specialist to join their team in Meriden, CT.
Responsibilities of the AP/AR Specialist
- Manage all accounts payable functions, including invoice entry, coding, and matching
- Process accounts receivable activities, including cash applications and account maintenance
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Set up new customer accounts within the company's internal system
- Assist with payroll processing and related administrative duties
- Provide additional accounting support as needed
- Previous accounts payable and accounts receivable experience
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
