- Process and code a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
- The AP Accountant will review invoices against purchase orders, contracts, and supporting documentation
- Maintain vendor accounts and respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payments
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues
- The AP Accountant will perform vendor statement and account reconciliations
- Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments
- The AP Accountant will maintain accurate AP records and supporting documentation
- Work closely with project managers and internal teams to ensure invoices are properly approved and processed
- Assist with construction-related accounting projects and other duties as needed
- 2 years of accounts payable or accounting experience
- Previous construction accounting experience preferred
- Experience working with an ERP or accounting software system
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
