Job Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk

Location: Bakersfield, CA (Onsite)

Pay Range: $21.00 – $26.00/hour

About The Opportunity

We are actively building a pipeline of skilled Accounts Receivable Clerks in the Bakersfield area for upcoming opportunities with well-established companies across industries including healthcare, agriculture, distribution, and professional services.

If you have experience in billing, collections, and cash applications, we’d love to connect and keep you in mind for current and upcoming roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and post customer payments (cash, check, ACH, wire)
• Prepare and send invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Manage AR aging and follow up on past-due accounts
• Communicate with customers regarding billing and payment inquiries
• Support month-end close activities related to receivables
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
  
  

Qualifications

• 1 years of Accounts Receivable or related accounting experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic to intermediate)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  
  

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience with high-volume invoicing or collections
• Industry experience in healthcare, agriculture, or distribution
• Associate’s degree or coursework in Accounting or Finance
