Key Responsibilities Include
- Oversee daily posting of inventory, fixed asset, and expense purchases
- Manage the employee expense reporting system and corporate credit card program
- Ensure accurate and timely cash disbursements
- Support month‑end close processes including in‑transit accruals and unrecorded invoice accruals
- Assist with internal and external audit requests
- Lead system and workflow improvements in procurement, payment systems, and approval processes
- Provide ongoing training, guidance, and performance feedback to AP staff
- Own and manage the 3‑way match discrepancy process in collaboration with purchasing and warehouse leadership
What We’re Looking For
Required Experience for the Accounts Payable Manager:
- Minimum 10 years accounts payable, with 2 years AP management in a manufacturing/distribution setting
- Advanced Excel and ERP skills (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or comparable systems)
- Strong leadership, communication, and internal business partnership track record
- Familiarity with major accounting systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred
- Experience with OCR tools and AP automation platforms
- Background in inventory‑heavy operations
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
