Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify accounts payable invoices (200–300 per week) for accuracy and completeness
- Review, prepare, and post journal entries
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to internal controls
- Support ongoing accounting processes and reporting as needed
Minimum:
- Associate’s degree 1 year of accounting experience (or additional experience in lieu of degree)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive, high-volume work
- Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment
- Government or nonprofit accounting experience
- Strong analytical skills with potential for future advancement
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
