Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Manage general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and journal entries with a high degree of technical accuracy
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and support external audits and tax-related filings
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, finance, and leadership to support business initiatives and improve financial processes
- Strengthen and maintain internal controls and accounting policies in a developing, high-growth environment
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts as needed
- Lead and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a strong culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- CPA required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s preferred)
- 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including a mix of public accounting and private industry
- Strong technical accounting expertise and comfort navigating complex transactions
- Proven experience managing the close process in an operationally active business
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with evolving systems and processes
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
