Accounting Manager

Location: Lansing, MI

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Onsite)

Pay: $75,000 - $85,000

Work Environment: Business casual (no jeans)

Our client is a growing financial services organization focused on efficiency and continuous improvement. The Accounting Manager will support day-to-day accounting operations for multiple entities. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone comfortable working in a lean, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, organize, and enter invoices into the accounting system for multi-entity accounts payable
• Prepare accounts payable aging reports for approval
• Perform check runs on an as-needed basis
• Run weekly payroll
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including labor union representatives
• Operate in a private equity–owned environment with ongoing expectations to streamline processes and maximize efficiency
  
  

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on accounts payable experience or AP oversight
• Good customer service skills
• Experience preparing aging reports and processing payments
  
  

Preferred

• Experience with NetSuite
• Multi-entity AP experience
• Experience working with labor unions or multiple external stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multi-entity accounting
