Key Responsibilities for Accounting Clerk
- Generate, process, and distribute customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Investigate and resolve transaction discrepancies and billing issues.
- Monitor pending transactions to ensure prompt invoicing and processing.
- Respond to customer inquiries and make corrections as needed.
- Review, code, and enter vendor invoices into the accounts payable system.
- Verify invoices and process payments according to established payment terms.
- Post payments, credits, and cash receipts.
- Perform invoice matching and validation procedures.
- Assist with purchasing-related activities and vendor transactions.
- Support efforts to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Coordinate with internal departments to support operational and financial objectives.
- Assist with supplier onboarding and electronic payment setup.
- Record and reconcile financial transactions within company systems.
- Support additional accounting, finance, and administrative projects as assigned.
- 1 years accounting experience.
- Understanding of debits, credits, and fundamental accounting processes.
- Accounts payable, invoicing, or general accounting experience preferred.
- Experience with invoice matching, vendor management, or purchasing support is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- High degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with ERP or accounting software preferred.
Salary : $50,000 - $56,000
