- Provide month-end close support and assist with related accounting activities.
- Manage accounts payable processes related to grant funding.
- Prepare journal entries for funders and subrecipients.
- Prepare and maintain reconciliations and tracking schedules for advanced funds.
- Monitor and manage federal and non-federal funding sources with varying levels of restrictions.
- Support grant accounting and compliance requirements.
- Assist with financial reporting and other accounting projects as needed.
- Experience with post-award grant accounting.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- Self-starter with strong initiative, resourcefulness, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a nonprofit finance environment.
