We are seeking an energetic, relationship-driven Client Success Manager to serve as the primary face of CFS Site Services in the field. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction, service quality, employee performance, and account growth across our portfolio of clients.
Position SummaryThe Client Success Manager is responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, conducting routine site visits, performing inspections and quality audits, supporting employee training and development, and identifying opportunities to expand services. This position requires extensive travel throughout the Bay Area and Northern California, including Fremont, San Jose, Berkeley, Vacaville, Sacramento, and surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, operationally minded, and passionate about delivering exceptional service.
Key ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship Management- Conduct regular in-person visits to client facilities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders.
- Schedule and lead joint site walkthroughs with clients.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for service concerns and customer requests.
- Ensure client expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with major accounts.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions and action items.
- Perform routine site inspections and quality audits.
- Evaluate service performance against contractual requirements.
- Identify deficiencies and implement corrective action plans.
- Monitor overall cleanliness and service delivery standards.
- Generate inspection reports and communicate findings to operations teams.
- Track completion of corrective actions and follow-up items.
- Conduct field coaching and retraining of janitorial staff.
- Support onboarding and training of new employees.
- Reinforce company cleaning standards, safety procedures, and client expectations.
- Assist supervisors and leads with performance improvement initiatives.
- Promote accountability and operational excellence across all sites.
- Work closely with Operations Managers and Site Supervisors to resolve service issues.
- Assist with staffing transitions, special projects, and account startups.
- Support implementation of new service programs.
- Ensure supplies, equipment, and consumables are properly utilized and maintained.
- Help maintain consistency of service delivery across multiple client locations.
- Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts.
- Recommend additional services such as:
- Day Porter Programs
- Floor Care Services
- Cleanroom Cleaning
- Data Center Cleaning
- Pressure Washing
- Window Cleaning
- Environmental Monitoring
- Specialty Deep Cleaning Projects
- Collaborate with leadership to prepare proposals and service recommendations.
- Assist with client retention and renewal efforts.
This is a field-based position requiring frequent travel throughout Northern California.
- 3 years of experience in facility services, janitorial operations, property management, hospitality, or a related field.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience conducting inspections, audits, or quality assurance reviews.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile technology.
- Valid California Driver's License.
- Reliable personal vehicle.
- Clean driving record.
- Experience in janitorial or facility management.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment.
- Experience working in cleanrooms, biotech, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or data center environments.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
