About the role: The Sr. Global Logistics Specialist is responsible for overseeing daily global logistics operations to ensure the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of goods across multiple locations. This role manages transportation activities, coordinates with internal teams and external partners, and ensures compliance with international trade regulations. The Supervisor plays a key role in improving supply chain performance by optimizing processes, managing costs, and maintaining high service levels.
This position works closely with procurement, warehousing, transportation providers, and customer service teams to ensure on-time delivery, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across the global supply chain.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily global logistics operations including shipment planning, carrier selection, and freight cost management.
- Coordinate transportation activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to resolve shipping, documentation, or customs issues.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
- Monitor logistics performance metrics (KPIs) and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service levels, and cost control.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
- Prepare and present logistics performance reports, cost analyses, and operational updates to leadership.
- Lead initiatives to improve supply chain processes, optimize transportation strategies, and enhance delivery reliability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
- Strong knowledge of international transportation modes, customs regulations, and global trade compliance.
- Experience with ERP systems and logistics management software.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Experience supporting global logistics operations within a multinational organization.
- Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and international carriers.
