We are partnering with a well-established and rapidly growing consumer products company to identify a Staff Accountant who is looking to take on a highly visible role within a collaborative and business-oriented accounting team. Responsibilities:
- Own key aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
- Support inventory accounting and collaborate closely with operational teams.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Assist with audit preparation and strengthen internal controls and accounting processes.
- Partner with leaders across operations, sales, and supply chain to improve reporting and drive efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Previous public accounting experience required
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience working within manufacturing, consumer products, distribution, retail, or inventory-intensive environments preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience.
- CPA or CPA-track candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate effectively across departments.
