Job Summary
Exciting position open with a growing company that specializes in business advisory and accounting for restaurants. Bookkeeping experience is required and restaurant experience is a plus. After you are trained, you will be given the responsibility of doing the bookkeeping for about 7 restaurant clients.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
- Process Payroll
- Accounts Payable
- Daily Sales Verification and posting
- Calculate and verify monthly sales tax
- Weekly Cash Flow Projections
- Assist Controller with period end close process
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned by the Controller
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in QuickBooks
- Microsoft Excel Knowledge
- Organized with strong attention to detail
- Experience in accounts payable
- Understanding of and ability to adhere to accounting standards
- Experience in journal entries, payroll, and bank/credit card reconciliation
- Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience as a senior bookkeeper

Salary is dependent on your level of experience.
