For 80 years, we have been one of upstate New York’s largest providers of programs and services for individuals who have disabilities. Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere. We are searching for a Support Administrator of Residential Services to join our agency. The primary purpose of the Support Administrator of Residential Services is to provide temporary gap management coverage for an array of management duties and responsibilities as needed due to vacancies, extended leaves, vacations and for supplemental assignments and training to critical positions within an identified location. This position will be considered to be flexible in its application and therefore will not have a specified permanent location. It is a requirement that the position is mobile and will be deployed to a location of need as determined by the Director or Deputy Executive Director of Residential Services. Responsibilities: Maintaining all of the daily job functions as required based on the designated assignment This position will have delegated supervisory authority and responsibility as determined by the Director and or in conjunction with the Deputy Executive Director of Residential Services. This management position is responsible for the planning, development and operation of all supports and services required by the staff and the people we support in a group of programs within the Residential Division. This is a key leadership position which oversees the supervision of the program planning team of which they are deployed. This position supports the mission and goals of the agency by supervising programs and functions, which includes the oversight and guidance of regulatory compliance, satisfaction of the people we support, and the development and adherence to operating and capital budgets as needed. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in any related Human Services field of that satisfies the QIDP requirement At least 3 years of job related experience, specifically working with people with developmental disabilities and at least 3 years of related experience in supervision or managements within the human services field Valid NYS Driver’s License in good standing Must be at least 18 years old to apply for this position Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds At The Center for Disability Services, we don’t just accept difference – we celebrate it, support it, and thrive on it for the benefit of our employees and the people we support.
