As a Direct Support Professional in our Residential Services program, you will provide essential support to individuals living in a group home setting. Your role includes assisting with daily routines such as personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and household tasks-creating a safe, supportive, and home-like environment. You'll help residents build life skills, maintain their independence, and engage in meaningful activities both at home and in the community.
Pay Rate: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour (based on program site)
Additional $2.00/hour weekend shift differential
Compensation varies by location (program site), with hourly rates ranging from $19.00 to $20.00 per hour. Employees working weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) will receive an additional $2.00 per hour.

Typical Schedule Options:
We offer a variety of schedule options to meet your needs - and ours. While we can't list every available shift, here's what a typical schedule often looks like for this position:
- Afternoon to evening shifts, such as 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM or 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Occasional midday shifts like 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM
- Weekend shifts may include extended hours such as 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM, allowing for 4-day workweeks in some cases
Weekend Availability: Most positions include working at least one weekend day, and some include both Saturday and Sunday. To recognize this commitment, we offer a $2.00/hour weekend stipend for all hours worked on Saturdays and Sundays.
Paid Time Off (PTO): You'll begin accruing PTO on your very first paycheck, with accruals processed biweekly. Our roles come with generous PTO allowances, giving you the opportunity to take occasional weekends off once you've built up time.

What You'll Do
As a Direct Support Professional, you'll:
- Assist individuals in making choices and decisions that enhance their independence.
- Support daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Encourage participation in community activities and social events.
- Provide emotional and physical support, fostering a safe and respectful environment.
- Document and communicate progress, ensuring person-centered care
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (TASC) preferred.
- Exceptional communication and computer skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to be certified in all required trainings.
- Occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds.
- One-year experience working with persons with disabilities (preferred).
