CFD Research is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join a well-established team that supports the development and sustainment of a simulation framework software. The candidate will support the lifecycle of software development efforts, which include development, integration, and deployment for test and analysis efforts with real-time hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) systems and all-digital representations of complex missile defense elements such as AN/TPY-2, SBX, LRDR, CDU, UEWR, GMD, and C2BMC. The candidate will enhance their understanding of the missile defense system and how each element is integrated into framework for test campaigns.

Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Physics, or Math from an accredited institution
- Mid and senior level experience candidates (5-15 years) will be considered
- Strong containerization skills and experience (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong programming skills in C/C , Java, and Python, including object oriented.
- Experience with scrum/agile software development
- Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an Active Secret security clearance.
- Experience with MDA HWIL test and analysis and simulation frameworks
- Experience and working knowledge of missile defense architecture, including radars, fire control systems, launchers, and messaging protocols.
