A national law firm is seeking to hire a Trust and Estates Department Manager for their very large team of 16 paralegals and 12 legal secretaries.
Candidate must understand estate planning and estate administration, have good management skills, be a self starter, energetic, and people friendly.
Responsibilities;
Work with Forms Committee - updating and circulating changes to department documents
Oversee that Estate binders are being delivered correctly
Organize department meetings
Organize department events
Supervise Gift tax returns and make certain they delivered timely
Schedule department reviews
Oversee attorney workload, matters are moving, who needs work, etc.
Onboarding new employees in group - lunches/forms/training re: T&E issues/document work
Track all estate admin so deadlines are met and final returns are filed timely.
Salary to 140K
