A top national law firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal for their New York office!
The Paralegal plays a crucial role in supporting the Litigation practice group and boosting attorney efficiency by managing information and aiding in the delivery of legal services, including client interactions.
This position demands a proactive attitude to ensure tasks are completed on time, exceptional organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to excel in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
The Paralegal will be expected to track and record their own billable time. Minimum of four years' experience as a Litigation Paralegal in a law firm setting. E-Discovery, knowledge of relativity and CourtAlert experience highly preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Prepare and finalize pleadings in accordance with applicable State and Federal rules for filing with court
- Assist with document retrieval, reviews, and organization of voluminous production
- Assist with document productions
- Maintain case pleadings, correspondence, and discovery for large volume cases
- Maintain and use document, transcript, and work product databases
- Prepare for depositions, i.e., prep. binders, exhibits, and all other discovery related tasks
- Work with supervising attorney to organize and prepare exhibit lists and/or privilege logs
- Coordinate work with outside document/litigation vendors, including adherence to strict deadlines
- Coordinate and assist with trial preparations, i.e., exhibits, witness binders, and demonstratives
- Assist with case docketing, including court and discovery deadlines
- Maintain confidentiality of client information
- Provide legal and non-legal administrative support to attorneys
- Other duties as assigned
