Probate Paralegal – Boca Raton
A well-established law firm in Boca Raton is seeking an experienced Probate Paralegal to join its Trusts & Estates team. This role is essential in supporting attorneys, managing critical information, and ensuring the smooth delivery of client services. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, attentive to detail, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This position requires tracking and recording billable time.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of law firm experience, with hands-on probate experience.
Responsibilities:
- Support attorneys with all aspects of probate and trust administration
- Prepare probate pleadings and related legal documents
- Marshal, track, and facilitate the distribution of assets
- Work with IRS forms, including gift tax (709) and estate tax (706) returns
- Handle electronic filing, record deeds and documents with the court
- Proofread all documents and correspondence for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain and organize client files, including preparing documents for execution
- Communicate with clients professionally and regularly
- Ensure strict confidentiality of client information
- Enter time and generate reports as needed
- Perform additional tasks as requested
Salary : $75,000 - $100,000
