This position guarantees the reliability of the financial and controlling information within the North America Area (USA – 3 business units and Canada) and for US support function (Finance, HR, IT, Purchase and Legal). Responsible for the monthly reporting, estimate and budget process, providing analysis and comments/alerts on the North America Area performance. Prepares regular and ad-hoc reports to monitor the financial performance of the Area and support Business plan elaboration for business development opportunities. Responsible for all U.S.-based payroll controlling for monthly reporting, analysis and comments as well as both estimate and budgeting process related to payroll expenses.

Responsible for all U.S.-based payroll controlling for monthly reporting, analysis and comments as well as both estimate and budgeting process related to payroll expenses.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for accuracy, quality, timeliness and reliability of financial information reported for the NA Area business and support function (Finance, HR, IT, Purchase and Legal). Includes month-end reporting of P&L, working capital ratio (WCR) to the Area CFO and Director as well as corporate headquarters.
- Completes monthly business review templates for the NA Area and provides to Area CFO, Area VP and corporate headquarters.
- Manage and coordinate the annual ad-hoc estimate and budget process with each Business Unit/Country Controller and with headquarters Controlling.
- Oversees payroll data analysis and reporting. Administers bi-weekly payroll accounting journal entries for all U.S. legal entities. Completes monthly payroll and headcount variance analysis versus budget and previous year.
- Coordinates estimate and budget process for all payroll costs. Calculates and provides payroll costs to each department manager.
- Support and control/challenge what each Business Unit/Country Controller reports in terms of data and comments
- Provides detailed ad-hoc financial analysis for specific business units or upon request from senior leadership.

- Education – degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA strongly preferred.
- Work Experience – 5 years Accounting or Finance experience.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, ERP Systems (JDE preferred), EPM System (Tidemark) and Group Business Intelligence software (Microstrategy/Makila/Tableau). Intermediate knowledge of MS Office and working knowledge of HRIS/Payroll systems.
- Ability to engage in verbal and written communication for 50% or more of the workday
- Ability to perform visual inspections for 50% or more of the workday
- This position will require occasional (approximately 10%) overnight travel.
- Base Salary Range: $130,000-150,000
