PAY RANGE: $75,000 - $90,000
Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm EST

YOUR ROLE

The Quality Supervisor will oversee and manage all quality control (QC) processes within the distribution center in Plainfield, IN. The primary responsibilities include ensuring that policies and procedures are followed and that products meet established quality standards, improving operational efficiency, reducing errors, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The Quality Supervisor will lead a team of QC specialists/coordinators and collaborate with various departments to maintain the highest level of product integrity and customer satisfaction.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures.
- Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze and interpret quality data and generate reports to monitor performance and trends.
- Supervise and mentor a team of QC inspectors, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the team.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and optimize efficiency.
- Collaborate with operations and other departments to streamline workflows and resolve quality issues.
- Ensure all products and processes comply with relevant regulations, standards, and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
- Address customer complaints and returns related to product quality, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence via root cause analysis.
- Other duties as assigned.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Education & Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field preferred. Quality certifications from a known organization (i.e., ASQ) with heavy people management background.
- Experience: Required: Minimum of 1-year of experience in Medical Device; Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a quality assurance role. Preferably within a distribution or manufacturing environment.
- Specialist Knowledge & Skills: Experience of 3PL industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical writing.
- Characteristics: Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, standards, and practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in using quality management software and tools. Strong leadership and team management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards. Intermediate Excel skills.
