CetraRuddy is seeking passionate Architects to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate on a diverse range of cultural, institutional, and residential projects, with access to understand the various phases of the design process. Responsibilities
- Support staff and Project Managers in developing design layouts and frameworks for projects, including preparation of drawings and specifications.
- Generates the development of design concepts under the guidance of senior staff, contributing to the creative and technical process.
- Research design and planning to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Prepare project specifications and analyze relevant data for informed decision-making.
- Participate in writing reports, specifications, estimates, and calculations.
- Research and gather data on building codes, zoning regulations, and project requirements to ensure compliance.
- Join in site visits to assess project conditions, gather information, and ensure design accuracy.
- Collaborate with other junior support staff and interns, sharing expertise and assisting with task completion.
- Develop an understanding of managing tasks on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met through effective collaboration.
- Provide support as needed to meet project milestones and keep tasks on track.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- 3 years of related experience.
- If not already licensed, demonstrated interest in actively pursuing or defining a path towards licensure.
- Able to advance ideas effectively, demonstrating initiative in project development.
- Demonstrated understanding of basic drawing conventions and concepts.
- Has a growing capacity to manage multiple tasks across various projects while effectively meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to develop professionalism, punctuality, organization, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to proactively seek guidance and support from colleagues.
- Open to participating in office and firm-wide activities.
- Proficient in Revit
- Capability in AutoCAD and Rhino.
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Experience with Bluebeam and Enscape
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
