Growing medical equipment repair company located in Jupiter, Florida seeking entry level technician for evaluations and repair of medical equipment. We are looking for candidates with general mechanical/electrical knowledge and students of engineering/electrical technology with a desire to learn medical equipment repair and be part of a great team. This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, eager to learn a specialized trade, and interested in building a long-term career in the medical device field.
You will receive hands-on training and work alongside experienced technicians to develop the skills necessary to inspect, repair, and maintain flexible endoscopes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the inspection and evaluation of flexible endoscopes
- Support technicians with disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of equipment
- Learn to perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks under supervision
- Conduct leak testing and assist with quality control checks
- Maintain accurate documentation and service records
- Follow established procedures and quality standards
- Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety guidelines
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – training will be provided
- Mechanical aptitude or interest in working with tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good organizational skills and ability to follow processes
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical training or coursework (preferred but not required)
