The Role

We are hiring a Regional Manager, Irrigation to elevate the landscape industry standard by creating the most expert, proactive, and customer-centric irrigation team and solutions, serving as a powerful demonstration of Cerv Landscape's commitment to innovate and re-define the industry through white-glove service.

This is a Manager role for an entrepreneurial A-player to build a world-class, purpose-driven irrigation department from the ground up. You won't just inherit systems, you will design the strategy, cultivate the talent, and establish the unwavering standards that define what "expert, proactive service" means at Cerv. You will be a courageous leader of consequence, empowered to challenge the status quo and build a team that brings a new level of integrity and customer-centricity to the landscape industry.

This role requires a leader with sound judgment, the willingness and humility to step into the field to diagnose and solve complex issues (especially in the early days), and the vision to build a scalable, profitable, and meaningful operation. Your primary focus will be serving our commercial customer base, with support for residential properties as needed. You will report directly to the VP, Landscape.

What You’ll Build & Own

You will act as a leader-operator and internal entrepreneur, focused on building a tech-enabled, customer-centric department.

  • Elevate the Team: Full ownership of talent strategy, including hiring, training, and performance management for our market-based team of "Irrigation Experts" (technicians). You will define the culture of accountability, urgency, and pride in execution within the Cerv model
  • System Innovation & Diagnostics: You will oversee all system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance protocols for our customers, as well as be responsible for stewarding our core value of Innovation forward through driving efficiency by integrating new, tech-enabled solutions and smart controllers into our service offering
  • Define the Standard: Design and document the end-to-end strategy, execution standards, and operational processes for all commercial and residential irrigation operations
  • Drive Growth & Value: Work cross-functionally with our Sales and Account Management teams to identify and successfully sell new irrigation work into existing and prospective landscape management contracts.
  • Ensure Operational Excellence: Manage scheduling, fleet, white-glove service, and resource allocation to guarantee consistent, white-glove quality and water efficiency across all client sites

Measure Impact: Set and exceed operational KPIs, ensuring our systems and teams are scaling reliably, efficiently, and proactively across all markets

What Success Looks Like

  • The Irrigation department is built with a culture of integrity and high accountability from day one
  • Clients experience seamless, expert service without needing to manage details, and proactively trust Cerv with their water management needs
  • Irrigation systems operate reliably, efficiently, and proactively across all properties
  • Teams are well trained, accountable, and aligned to one elevated standard from day one
  • KPIs/Outcomes are consistently met or exceeded as operations scale
  • Success is measured by ownership, consistency, and the ability to scale standards and Cerv’s reputation for expert, polished execution across teams and markets
  • The irrigation department becomes a revenue and profit engine across all markets through successful diagnostics turning into solutions that drive revenue while solving customers’ problems
