Compensation

About the Role:
Cerus Gear is hiring a Sales Representative to help grow our B2B and wholesale business. In this role, you will open new wholesale accounts, grow our dealer network, reactivate previous accounts, and manage follow-up with consistency and professionalism. This position combines business development, account management, and strong sales process discipline.

We’re looking for someone who is organized, coachable, relationship-driven, and motivated by performance. Experience in or knowledge of the firearms industry is preferred, as this role involves working with dealers, understanding the customer base, and representing the brand credibly within the market. The right person will be comfortable with proactive outreach, trade show follow-up, CRM management, and building long-term dealer relationships that lead to repeat business.
What You’ll Do:
- Open new wholesale accounts through proactive outreach and consistent follow-up
- Grow Cerus Gear’s dealer network by identifying and engaging strong-fit retail and business partners
- Reactivate inactive accounts through organized outreach and timely follow-up
- Follow up with trade show and event leads quickly and consistently
- Build strong dealer relationships that lead to repeat orders and long-term retention
- Maintain accurate CRM records, including activity, pipeline stage, next steps, and reorder opportunities
- Help improve sales processes and follow-up systems to support scalable growth
- Collaborate with the Head of Sales on outreach, account management, and reorder strategy
- Represent Cerus Gear with professionalism, humility, and a customer-first mindset
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, wholesale, account management, or customer-facing business development preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and follow-through
- Ability to manage outreach and account activity without letting opportunities slip through the cracks
- Comfortable building relationships through practical, non-pushy selling
- Comfortable using CRM systems and maintaining accurate records
- Ability to learn Cerus Gear’s products, dealer program, and wholesale sales process quickly
- Hungry, coachable, and motivated by both personal performance and team success
- Willingness to work in-office in the U.S.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows and industry events
Nice to Have
- Experience in wholesale sales, dealer development, or account management
- Familiarity with the firearms industry or a strong understanding of firearms culture
- Experience following up leads from trade shows or in-person events
- Experience helping build or improve sales systems and processes
- Background in relationship-based selling rather than transactional selling
