About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Associate to join our growing team, supporting both client service and investment functions for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. This is an outstanding opportunity for an early-career professional to build a career in wealth management by learning directly from senior investment and client service professionals while gaining exposure to portfolio construction, asset allocation, and client relationship management.
The ideal candidate combines a strong background in finance and data with a client-first mindset. They will play a key role in preparing analyses, implementing investment and planning strategies, and ensuring smooth account management and a white-glove client experience.
Responsibilities
- Support advisors in serving clients at all stages of the relationship — from prospecting to onboarding to ongoing portfolio and financial plan management
- Collaborate closely with advisors, the client service team, the investment team, and external professionals to seamlessly deliver investment solutions and manage documentation and transactions
- Create clear and compelling investment proposals, portfolio analyses, and investment research for prospects and clients
- Provide executive-level client service and operational support in a timely and professional manner
- Prepare client correspondences, reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other materials, ensuring key systems are updated accordingly
- Track all client requests, including meeting agendas and key takeaways from client and stakeholder engagements
- Service client-related tasks such as account opening, data, and reconciliation
- Organize, pre-file, audit, submit, and follow up on client-related documentation throughout the entire prospect and client lifecycle
- Assist in portfolio construction and investment research to support client objectives
- Conduct monthly and quarterly reporting on privates
- Monitor and manage client accounts, transactions, and reporting to ensure accuracy
- Stay current on market trends, investment products, and planning strategies to inform investment strategy and support client discussions
- Identify and support initiatives to improve operational efficiency, streamline workflows, and deepen client relationships
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in financial services, ideally working with high- or ultra-high-net-worth clients
- Possess or are working toward Series 65 license and CFP or CFP equivalent
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including foundational experience in Excel and financial modeling
- Strong client service orientation with a polished, professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication, teamwork, and client relationship skills
- Proven ability to execute tasks accurately and efficiently with meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Highly driven, coachable, and self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn, take initiative, and advance
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion
- Extensive experience with portfolio management software like Charles Schwab and Black Diamond/Addepar as well as presentation platforms Powerpoint
